Christina Greene is a Florida-based fine-art photographer whose roots stretch from Central Florida’s spring-fed landscapes to the white beaches and winding waterways of the Panhandle. These environments fostered a lasting connection to water, wildlife, and the layered ecosystems that define the region.
An Army veteran, mother, and grandmother, Christina returned to her creative path with renewed discipline and purpose. Placing a camera in her hands felt instinctive, inspiring her to complete her B.A. in Digital Photography at Southern New Hampshire University.
Her work spans landscapes, portraiture, macro and botanical studies, environmental imagery, and experimental composites. Across these subjects, she remains guided by a deep appreciation for Florida’s natural rhythms and a belief that photography can cultivate awareness, curiosity, and connection.
A Practice of Observation
My photographic practice exists in the space between exploration and documentation, where careful observation allows meaning to emerge rather than be imposed. Working primarily within natural environments, I am guided by water, light, and form as both subject and structure. Whether photographing botanicals, wildlife, landscapes, or human presence within these spaces, I approach each frame with the same attentiveness.
Influenced by the clarity and intimacy of artists such as Imogen Cunningham, I am drawn to detail, texture, and the curious elements of organic form, yet I allow space for light, softness, and unexpected moments to shift the mood of an image. I balance descriptive precision with experimentation, allowing mood and atmosphere to shape the narrative. Through an environmentally conscious practice rooted in patience and presence, I invite viewers to pause, look more closely, and reconsider what is often overlooked.
